Dean Casorso, cET, MBA
Dean has 16 years of experience in the exploration and development of numerous conventional and resource plays throughout North America and internationally, having worked on 4 continents. He has extensive experience in both the business and technical aspects of the upstream oil and gas business.
A key figure in the exploration and development of Alberta's Athabasca oil sands, Dean has experience spanning CHOPS (cold heavy oil production with sand), SAGD (Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage), and CSS (Cyclic Steam Stimulation) operations. Other unconventional activities include CBM (Coal Bed Methane), horizontal multistage, and new concept development with different clients. Dean has also participated in numerous conventional projects in both exploration and development.
Dean holds a Petroleum Engineering Technologist Diploma from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) along with a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business.
Allan Albertson, P.Eng.
Allan has more than 20 years of diverse domestic and international petroleum engineering experience working in 19 countries on 6 of the world's continents. His experience spans unconventional, frontier and HPHT critical sour engineering and operations.
In addition, Allan has extensive experience with managing large, integrated teams focused on upstream activities involving engineering, well operations, and field development.
Allan is a professional engineer in Alberta and graduated from Montana Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
Jeff has more than 19 years of global oil and gas industry experience throughout Canada, South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He specializes in and teaches drilling optimization, well control, fluid and waste management, and drilling operations management.
Jeff graduated from the Petroleum Technology faculty at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT).
Bhoj Raj Choudhary,
B. Tech (PE-India)
Bhoj Raj's experience includes completion, testing, and reservoir analysis of onshore and offshore wells. He has successfully executed many ultra-HPHT well completion and well test assignments and has experience working on exploration, development and production of HPHT, unconventional and heavy oil reservoirs within commercially producing basins. His expertise also includes financial modelling, and oil and gas field development planning.
Bhoj Raj graduated from Indian School of Mines with a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Petroleum Engineering. He also serves his alma mater as a guest faculty on Oil and Gas Project Economics and Reservoir Engineering subjects.
Alisha has more than 13 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry in administration and customer relations. She has worked in both Eastern and Western Canada with various service and consulting companies.
Alisha worked with FCRL from 2000 to 2006 as the Office Manager and Bookkeeper, and rejoined FCRL in 2013 taking the role as Field Staff Coordinator and Bookkeeper. Alisha completed her certificate in Production Accounting from SAIT.
